Benjamin Horton is a globally recognised climate scientist and Dean of the School of Energy and Environment and Professor of Geosciences at City University of Hong Kong. In May, he is visiting Sweden to participate in Sveriges innovationsriksdag (Swedish Innovation Parliament) but he is also giving a lecture at Vinnova.

Horton's research focuses on sea-level rise and climate change, and he has contributed to the work of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Horton is known for connecting cutting-edge climate science with real-world policy, helping governments, cities, and businesses better understand and respond to climate risks.

The lecture will be held in English and web cast via Teams.
