Choice of content type

Content is mainly created as Articles or Events. Site specific content uses content type WebPage.

Normal choice is Article Page or Event Page

Content can be used on different sites and through different channels. Because of the there are only a few content types or content models to use. When promoting an event to make people mobilize, use the Event Page. In other cases use the Article Page.

The Web Page content type is used to display only on the main site connected to this content repository. Typically the Start page and About use are web pages based on this page type.

What about news pages?

News pages are in this environment only article pages that are recently created. The site will handle the display of news if that has a value for the visitor.

What about report pages?

Report pages are also based on the article page type. In the case an article page has an PDF-report attached the site will indicate this automatically to the visitor. PDF-attachments are however, if not forbidden, strongly advised against. Try instead to recreate the content in the report as one or more article pages.
